Responsible experimenter for VHF radar:
Resources: Uk(36) [format: <Associate code>(<hours>), eg EI(50)]
Notes
UHF: runexp bella/bella 0:0 fixed UK pointdir 0 30, after 30 mins pointdir 0 60 VHF: runexp bella/bella 0:0 lowel UK ESR: runexp tau7/tau7 lm fixed42m UK The purpose of this experiment is to observe plasma structures using the EISCAT radars to determine: Whether a minimum electron density gradient is required at the edge of a polar cap patch, or other large-scale plasma structure, for scintillation to occur; Whether a minimum electron density value is required at a steep plasma density gradient for scintillation to occur. Originally planned to use VHF, UHF and ESR 32m and 42m this has now been re-scoped to use more time on the mainland and only the 42m ESR dish. the UHF will operate at 60 degree elevation, 0 degrees azimuth, code to be determined the VHF will operate at 30 degree elevation, 0 degree azimuth, using tau7 the 42m dish will operate using folke
