Responsible experimenter for VHF radar:
Resources: UK(7) [format: <Associate code>(<hours>), eg EI(50)]
Notes
runexp bella/bella lm lowel UK This experiment requires low elevation observations using both the VHF and the UHF. VHF at low elevation (~30 degrees) pointing north. UHF also at low elevation (~30 degrees) pointing about 30 degrees azimuth westward of the VHF pointing direction. Similar to CP4 arrangement. Something like bella should be run on each radar, though tau7 would be acceptable for VHF if possible. Solar Orbiter will be performing a flyby of Earth with magnetic instruments enabled. Although there will be no direct crossing, EISCAT observations can be used to study global electrodynamic processes as the satellite is traveling from the magnetopause into the tail.
