Description:	Eiscat SPace Object Observation during the GEMinid meteor shower (ESPOO-GEM)
Notes	We would like to operate the VHF and UHF radar simultaneously for using the manda experiment in a beam park mode towards zenith (azimuth 0 and elevation 0) during the peak of the Geminid meteor shower, expected to occur around 08UT on 14 December. The starting time may be shifted by some hour/-s if needed to provide a smooth transition in the operator schedule with regards to the requested DRIIVE-FINESSE campaign. The purpose of ESPOO-GEM is to create a dual-frequency, common volume data set for meteors and space debris, the latter of which is a continuation of the ESPOO experiment in November 2025. This time, we will adapt the hard target processing for the manda experiment, whereas in November we used the leo experiment. The effects of radio wave refraction and group delay on space debris observations at the VHF frequency are so severe that they must be taken into account in order to determine accurate parameters. We will therefore analyse the data from both UHF and VHF also using GUISDAP and study how well the manda experiment provides both space object data and information about the state of the ionosphere in a larger altitude interval than normally, by also considering previously transmitted pulse sequences. 2025-12-12 12:25 UTC (Anders Tjulin): For synchronisation between the radars, please use: UHF: runexp manda/manda "Dec 13 13:50:00" zenith SE VHF: runexp manda/manda "Dec 13 13:50:00" zenith SE
