Description:	Ion-neutral coupling in the high-latitude ionosphere
Notes	Studies of ion-neutral coupling in the high-latitude ionosphere. Coordinated studies of the ionosphere-thermosphere system with EISCAT and SDI-3D optical instrument for thermospheric winds and temperatures. Supporting measurements are provided by the Swarm satellite overpasses, the FPI, other optical observations, and SuperDARN radars. UHF radar is run according to the SDI-3D operational schedule (dark conditions) and ESR provides simultaneous observations in the polar cap. VHF measurements around the magnetic midnight are targeted for better latitudinal coverage and bursty bulk flow observations.
