Notes	This experiment is a collaboration between Tromsø Geophyhsical Observatory at UiT and colleagues at University of Milan and the Italian Institute for Astrophysics. We wish to investigate the Ramfjordmoen EISAT UHF antenna's suitability as a solar radio telescope for solar imaging. In case it is suitable, the antenna might have a future as an operational space weather instrument for early detection and warning of solar flares as well as research tool for solar processes. We wish, primarily to find out if we are able to make sufficiently accurate scans of the Sun, either (preferably) by scanning the antenna across its surface, or by moving the antenna elevation, allowing different latitudes of the Sun to move through the field of view. We would need to measure raw power as function of elevation and azimuth. Other parameter's that might be of use, if available, is spectrum and polarization. This is a passive experiment, with no transmission. There are few prerequisites for our measurement. Primarily, we need the sun to be above the horizon. To possibly capture some solar activity we wish data from a few hours (3-4) over a few days (3-4) as a start.
