Responsible experimenter for UHF radar:
Resources: GE(7) [format: <Associate code>(<hours>), eg EI(50)]
Notes
The main objective of the experiment is to locate potential ionosphere irregularities that cause disturbance in slant GNSS observations (amplitude, Doppler and phase). For this purpose, we want to collect observations from two GNSS ground stations (near Tromsoe, Norway and near Ny-Alesund, Svalbard) in parallel with data from the (Tromsoe and Svalbard) EISCAT radar stations. The important point of the experiment is to obtain GNSS links to satellite with slant geometry (elevation angles < 30°) above the radar station and to have the electron density (ne) reliably monitored. Radar beam direction TRO and ESR: zenith
